I was hesitant about Synaptol because of the mixed reviews. But I decided to try it because other homeopathics that work really well for me (e.g., Bach Flower Remedies) also get mixed reviews. At first I thought I was getting some side effects: pain/soreness in arms. But I have had those pains before, so they may not have been related. Or they were some kind of adjustment in my body to Synaptol, since the pain/soreness was only for 1-2 days. I now take Synaptol 2-3 times a day, and it alleviates the fatigue that accompanies a feeling of "traffic jam" in my mind, especially in the mid afternoon. When I start feeling fatigued and my mind feels contracted and slow, and I feel kind of lost/unfocused, I remember to take Synaptol, and those feelings go away, and I am able to focus and be present again. I am also not having migraine headaches anymore, possibly because the "traffic jam" gets alleviated and does not deteriorate into a migraine. My seven yr. old son is having a terrible time in school. He can't follow routine at all and I have to tell him every move to make. His teacher also says the same thing. At first I didn't notice any changes in performance. But then after about a month, having taken the product regularly as prescribed I notice slight improvements over time in my performance at work. I have a 15 yr old son who is ADHD. I bought a month supply of Synaptol just to try on my 7yr old son who was diagnosed with ADHD several months ago. His father and I wanted to try everything first before medicating him, which is what everybody recommended, from his school to his doctor. When I first heard about Synaptol, I had concerns about it. Is it effective? Is it safe? Is it worth the cost? Hello, I got this product for my 15-year-old with Tourrette's, and my 7-year-old who has type 1 diabetes, who has a lot of energy and never keeps still. I must say, it has done wonders for my 15-year-old's concentration. He has been better at school - for the first time, last week, he sat for 2.5 hours to do a school assignment. The best thing about Synaptol is that there are no negative side effects. My 14-year-old son was experiencing depression when he was on ADHD prescription medication. We tried a full biometric regimen to no effect on my then-3-year-old daughter diagnosed PDD-NOS (autism). Words are difficult to describe the anguish as a mother to see your child growing up with a severe case of ADHD, OCD, severe depression disorder, and major anxiety disorder, since he was 8. He was diagnosed and given Ritalin until he was 16. I made the mistake to take him off of the medication without consulting the doctor. I remember it was 11am the day of his high school graduation when I received the call from his best friend telling me that he was going to graduate with his classmates that day. We had not known if he passed his test because he had so many F's. I remember to this day my tears were full of happiness. Thank God he knew what he wanted to study. He went to Denver, Colorado and studied for 2 years and graduated as an auto mechanic with great grades. He loved that so much that it was not so difficult for him to pay attention to that. Then he graduated and 2 of his teachers came to me and told me that he was brilliant and they expected him to study more advanced classes now. He started working in a few places, but winter was bad for work there, his symptoms started to appear again, he lost his last job, and broke up with his girlfriend of 2 years. All of this made him more and more depressed, so he finally decided to come back home to Los Angeles, California. After the 3rd month of not finding a job he started getting worse, so I decided to find help. And since he did not have any medical insurance I pursued help from the Los Angeles County Mental Health Department. After a few attempts, finally we got the help that he needed. But no medication for ADHD was giving it to him. Later he was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Another psychiatrist, after checking on him, said that he was receiving the wrong medication and he gave us his own prescription and recommended he take another medicine for his ADHD. He suggested that the main problem for him was his ADHD, and that if he took the right medication he would improve the other disorders. His primary doctor prescribed the suggested medicine and he did improve, but all of these medicines have side effects and his liver eventually will suffer. My feelings were..."What do I have to lose?" The medication that my eight-year-old son was taking for his ADHD had taken its toll on his body. Well, where do I begin...I am a 24-year-old adult male. I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago and knew that I always had it, but never really was actually diagnosed.
