Alcohol slows down your reaction time and your thoughts, so it is important to not make it a part of your daily life. It too can disturb your sleep.

Focus and concentration can improve if you reduce the amount of stress in your life. Set aside all other thoughts when complete focus and concentration are needed. Use all of your energy toward whatever it is that you are trying to accomplish. Although, give yourself a break (at the appropriate time) from your focus and concentration. Doing so can help generate new ideas and can re-focus your thoughts. Exercise can also enhance your ability to focus while relieving stress simultaneously. Exercise makes it easier to think more clearly and can provide better thought and idea flow. Another alternative can be to take daily vitamins and supplements that specialize in focus and concentration for the best results.
