I was hesitant about Synaptol because of the mixed reviews. But I decided to try it because other homeopathics that work really well for me (e.g., Bach Flower Remedies) also get mixed reviews. At first I thought I was getting some side effects: pain/soreness in arms. But I have had those pains before, so they may not have been related. Or they were some kind of adjustment in my body to Synaptol, since the pain/soreness was only for 1-2 days. I now take Synaptol 2-3 times a day, and it alleviates the fatigue that accompanies a feeling of "traffic jam" in my mind, especially in the mid afternoon. When I start feeling fatigued and my mind feels contracted and slow, and I feel kind of lost/unfocused, I remember to take Synaptol, and those feelings go away, and I am able to focus and be present again. I am also not having migraine headaches anymore, possibly because the "traffic jam" gets alleviated and does not deteriorate into a migraine. I don't know if there is any scientific connection between ADD and migraines. I'm only relating my experience, and it feels significant because nothing else has really helped my migraines for 20+ years. I have only been taking Synaptol for 1 month, so we'll see if the pattern continues. Synaptol is the first ADD medication I have taken, and I have no temptation to try allopathic medications because it seems to be helping me immensely without any negative side effects. Thanks.

My seven yr. old son is having a terrible time in school. He can't follow routine at all and I have to tell him every move to make. His teacher also says the same thing. He walks into the classroom every day and has to be told what to do day after day. He has the lowest possible grade in class. Our 7 year old son has had difficulty with basic activities of daily living for as long as I can remember. He has always been high energy and easily distracted. I have been giving Synaptol to my 9-year-old for 6 months. I give her 2 small doses a day. I am a reading interventionist and work with struggling students in an low socio-economic school district. I am aware of [popular ADD medication] and many other ADD medicines. I was prepared to give this to my child before Synaptol. My daughter was having the typical problems in school...struggling with grades, a little below grade level in reading, very messy handwriting, not able to remember homework directions. Her biggest issue, though, was reading comprehension. We were concerned about some minor attention issues, but they were not producing behavior problems, just academic. Thought you should know, My daughter has had unstable violent temper outbursts all her life, ever since she started Daycare. At first I didn't notice any changes in performance. But then after about a month, having taken the product regularly as prescribed I notice slight improvements over time in my performance at work. For example, at work (I'm a new employee of 5 months in a Deli/Bakery ) I was asked to do a very difficult task I've done only once before (with assistance) and to do it in a time limit, this time unassisted. I did it. It was several days later I realized that I was confident in that particular task. I'm amazed in the confidence level I seem to have acquired plus organizational skills, planning ahead in day to day routines etc. I'm keeping a close watch on future performances using Synaptol. As a 56 year old I was unsure what my problem was. I just knew that I could not remain focused if I really did not put total effort into one thing at a time. These could be small tasks such as house chores, ie not completing one room of the house before starting on another. I must admit that I am somewhat of a perfectionist, not obsessive, just a bit detail oriented. I have been using Synaptol with my 7 year old grandson, who we thought was ADHD but had not had tested at the time we started him on Synaptol. The doctor's office called us about his appointment to test him, and asked that we take him off all medicines, including any natural medicines, so they could get a more accurate test. I was not sure if Synaptol was working, until we took him off of Synaptol for three weeks, waiting for him to be tested. At the examination, the doctor who examined him said she "was able to keep his attention on an active activity (47 seconds)." I am glad and excited to share this testimony. My son is currently 15 years old and has been taking Synaptol for the past 4 years with no negative side effects. The history goes back to when he was in kindergarten. Teachers suggested having him tested due to hyperactivity and disruptiveness in class. I ordered Synaptol for my grandson. His mother was at wits end trying to find a medicine that would help him focus. At the insistence of his father, and against her better judgment, she put him on an ADD medicine, a fairly new one that was supposed to have few side effects. At school one day his left arm went numb and begin twitching. The doctor said it was caused by the ADD medicine and would not put him on them anymore because they were affecting his health. ADHD spectrum problems run very strongly on one side of our family, with one of my daughter's cousins being autistic and 4 cousins treating for ADHD. She is now 9, and we have noticed these tendencies since the age of 5, but have been wary of standard stimulant treatments. She also chews all pills, so conventional therapy would not be appropriate. She is bright, but she was having regular problems at school not listening to teachers or reliably completing work, as well as other standard impulsive behavior problems. The week we started Synaptol was also the week of national testing (all AM 2 1/2 hour tests). This was her first lengthy testing situation, and she did score top of her class. We have noticed such a huge difference in our son since he started taking Synaptol. He has always been an active child, however always seemed to have a problem concentrating on the task at hand. Whether we were asking him to get dressed, to brush his teeth, eat, or attempt to direct him into a daily routine, he just seemed so easily distracted and forgetful. His previous and current teachers would comment about his inattention and not being able to sit still in his chair, and would point out other issues with his reading and writing due to not being able to concentrate on the sounds. My son was on a 20 mg dosage of ADHD medication and I was able to decrease the dosage to 15 mg. And that was with me not remembering to give the Synaptol twice a day. As of now, I will remember to give twice a day everyday (one full squeeze of the dropper, which only actually fills it half way). My grandson is having great success with Synaptol. Right around October 2010 we began getting feedback from his teacher that he was acting out in class and was not paying attention. In the years previous to that we had an occasional comment from his teachers but it had never been serious enough to pursue further. However the third grade is a little more demanding and classroom sizes have become larger due to budget issues! Up until third grade we assumed he was just an energetic young man. He also had been having temper tantrums and outburst issues and once again we assumed that perhaps (being an only child) and somewhat spoiled that perhaps that was the problem. My son has improved quite a bit with Synaptol. He was on lisdexamfetamine for almost two years. Although lisdexamfetamine had worked for him there were quite a few side effects that concerned my doctor and myself. He had no growth and also no weight gain--he was only 60lbs at 4ft 6". I have a 14 yr. old son who was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 10. He was put on a combination of dextroamphetamine and amphetamine at that time. It seemed to take forever adjusting the dosage of medication before it eventually seemed to help him even just a little bit. It did seem to help for a while but then after an extended period of time, it started to make him very agitated. Shortly after that he was taken off it. When he was prescribed the medication in the beginning, I did some research on it and the reported side effects had me very concerned. Our 8 year old daughter was diagnosed last year with ADHD. Since she was 3 years old she has always been described as our "stubborn-strong will child." I have four children that have ADD and ADHD. I was told about Synaptol from a good friend who had just started her children on it. I was talking to her about how all of my children were really struggling in school, but I was very skeptical and did not try it. We continued with the roller coaster of various prescription medications and could not find one that worked very well, also the side affects of the prescription drugs were horrible. My kids were having trouble sleeping and were all loosing weight and the medications the doctors prescribed helped a little, but not much. The side effects were just too severe and weren't worth the damage that they were doing to their bodies. Finally we had tried every prescription on the market and my children's doctor told me that there was nothing else to try, that I had to just pick one and live with the side effects. Shortly thereafter, my oldest son, who was ten years old at the time, became very ill and began to rapidly loose weight. After several months of doctor visits, hospitalizations and tests, he was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. My son and I both take Synaptol. I have adult ADD and was taking one of the usual medications prescribed for it. It did do the job (definitely helped with focus) though the on going list of other side effects from the medication was another HUGE problem. I didn't realize to fix one problem I was going to have to adopt several others. My daughter is 7 and we have been using this product for a few months now. We have to give her a higher dose then what is called for to have an effect on her. She takes 2 dropper fulls in the morning before school and 2 more when she gets home and on the weekend she takes 2 in the a.m. and 2 in the afternoon. Joshua, my son who is turning twelve next week, has been taking Synaptol for about seven months now. Joshua is a very high energy child who lacked motivation for his studies. He is a gymnast who practices this skill 5 days a week and I have often told him that he would have made a very content "monkey" doing nothing but jumping from tree to tree in the jungle. My husband and I are raising 4 grandchildren. The oldest is a girl and is almost 12 years old, the twins are 9 years old - girl and boy, and the youngest is an 8 year old boy. They all have ADD and ADHD with the oldest also having ODD (oppositional deficient disorder). Due to lots of behavior issues at school and home the oldest one's doctor wanted to try her on methylphenidate and I very reluctantly agreed on a trial basis. My daughter is 12 and we have been struggling with her attention span for years. She was identified as gifted in 3rd grade and is allowed to read novels during class because it helps her focus. My son is 14 and a freshman in high school. He was diagnosed with ADHD while in 8th grade, last year. I put him on prescription medicines and tried about 3 or 4 different ones. They did what they promised, for the most part, giving him increased focus and decreased hyperactivity, but all the while he was losing weight since his appetite was being suppressed while taking the medicine. He is of small stature anyway, and was losing weight steadily. His pediatrician, who prescribed the medicine, told me that this weight decline could compromise his impending growth spurt. This worried me greatly. I then began to research other options. When I came across Synaptol, I was hopeful, but skeptical. I loved the fact that it promised no negative side effects. I was concerned he would not like the taste and that we would then not be able to continue with it. Fortunately, the taste is pleasant and he was fine with it. I am raising my grandson and have done so for the past two years alone. The first year of his life, his mother, my daughter was with us, until motherhood. I guess it became too much for her and she pretty much abandoned him here with me. Before I found Synaptol I tried various methods to moderate or alleviate my young son's symptoms of ADHD. I ordered Synaptol for my son about three weeks ago, I found it surfing the web in a desperate attempt to to find help for my son with out putting him on prescribed medication. I went back and forth on your web site for about a month or more reading the reviews and finding every bit of information I could on this product. My son is six, he is a very talented gifted boy, and he was diagnosed with ADHD/ODD last year. Just a few months ago his school was hit blindsided with the fact that they could no longer meet his needs and I was left with no other option but to put him in special school. After the first week of having to listen to them tell me daily that he needed to be medicated I was finally at my wits end and I stopped at an herbal store and asked them if they had anything that would help him. We have been on Synaptol, or as we call it, "the vitamin", since the middle of February. We have tried several different things and methylphenidate kept him from gaining weight but worked well at first. Others caused reactions such as tics, with just one dose. So my husband and I decided to try this, what could it hurt, we have spent so much on other medicine. We can tell a difference in him and others have commented the same. Some people who are around him a lot and don't know he is on it even have said, "he was really good today" or "he is doing better with not winning every time". I ordered the Synaptol for my 5 year old granddaughter. My son has been giving it to her faithfully now for about 2 1/2 weeks. She seems to be a little calmer in school but has been having some very interesting 'temper tantrums' at home. I don't know if it is related or not but he is a single dad and when she visits her mother she usually misbehaves more when she returns. I will order one or two more bottles later today and see if it does, or does not, help her out. Yes, I am now in my 50s and decided that I must do something to alleviate my ADHD (impulsiveness and lack of focus that has greatly impeded my success in life). I decided to 'gamble away' $30 on the Synaptol. Honestly, I wasn't expecting positive results, at least for a few weeks. So, was I very pleasantly shocked when on the 2nd day I noticed that my concentration zoomed, and I also had an increase of energy! Again, I wasn't expecting this. Let me say that I'm very cautious with natural (over the counter) medications. My son is borderline ADD. He shows some of the symptoms, however is not a severe case of ADD. In fact one psychologist suggests that he does not have ADD and another suggests some of the signs. Likewise, some of his teachers suggest ADD and others say he is fine. What is a dad to do????? I do not know what I would have done without Synaptol for my grandson's behavior. My grandson (Bebo) is an eight year old second grader with terrible behavior. Bebo did not want to read, write, or pay attention, he would get out of his classroom and wander around the school premises because he was bored. I was a bit skeptical about buying Synaptol on the internet, as you don't know if the reviews are true. Well, Synaptol works!! My 6-year-old has been diagnosed as ADHD and the pediatrician wanted to put him on methylphenidate. He had been diagnosed with sensory seeking behaviour when he was 3, so we knew he would eventually be diagnosed with ADHD. We didn't want to use methylphenidate, as my brother had and he had side effects from it. We thought no harm in trying something natural, gave it a go, and what a difference. I would like to share with you today what a blessing Synaptol has been to me and my family. When my daughter was in high school, we had her on pemoline for ADD. My 9-year-old son was on 25mg of dexmethylphenidate. He started to complain about massive headaches to the point I would get calls to pick him up from school because of them. He was becoming mean, and his thought process was crazy. Since age 5 my son Richard has always been hyper. Up and down, up and down, up and down, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. You get the idea. Sound familiar? Then when I sent him to school he was evaluated by the so-called experts and educators as he was diagnosed with Attention Defecit Hyper-activity Disorder. ADHD. He was diagnosed with severe types I and II. For many years every little task was a sruggle and an argument. Time passed and he graduated from high school, but now that he was in tech school, more challenges new problems - but the same ADHD was there to hinder him in every task he tried. I just wanted to let you know that I think Synaptol is a great product. Our 12 yr old son has been on several different prescriptions since 2008 for his ADHD. They worked well, but the side effects were terrible. He had stomach pains all the time, he was always in a bad mood, and he could not gain weight. We tried giving him a very small dose of his prescription to help counter the side effects, but then he would be unable to concentrate even by the end of the school day. We tried Synaptol 2 months ago, and I will tell you he is a completely different child. His mood is much better, the stomach pains are gone and he is gaining weight, because now he is hungry! My name is Christina and I am a mother of a 5 year old boy. Now that I look back, I could see that my son had ADHD behaviors at age 3. My son was diagnosed at the age of 4. My son was all over the place. He could not sit in his seat and he could not follow through with taking directions. My son's biggest problem was that his impulses were out of control. He would hit his peers, not out of anger but just because his impulses were uncontrollable. I was never willing to take a look at medication because I figured that I signed up for the good and the bad when I decided to become a parent. Then one day I walked into my son's daycare and I saw him sitting all by himself playing because none of the other children wanted to play with him because he would hit them all the time. I started to take a look at medication. The first medication that I tried was dextroamphetamine, and this medication made him emotionally unstable. The second medication was guanfacine, and this medication made him sleep all the time. The third medication was atomoxetine and he did well for a couple of weeks, but then the medication made him aggressive. The fourth medication was risperidone, and this medication made him aggressive after a couple of weeks as well. Every time my son experienced a side effect, I felt as though I had made the wrong choice as a parent, but then I found myself between a rock and a hard place because without medication my son's life was a mess. THANK YOU!!!!!! Synaptol has GIVEN ME A NEW LIFE! I run my own business and many daily responsibilities, but for years I'd run around like a chicken with my head cut off!! ADHD made me feel like giving up (though not knowing what the physiological problem was). I'd spent my whole life wondering "What's wrong with me?", watching others maneuver through life, school, work, relationships without a problem. I stumbled through each day, desperately trying to get organized....confused, forgetful and running to catch up! Low self-esteem.... At 57yrs, I was diagnosed with ADHD (exacerbated by chemotherapy a few years earlier) and put on dextroamphetamine and amphetamine. My life was spiraling out of control! I have a 15 yr old son who is ADHD. His symptoms are: unable to sit still, constant talking, fidgeting, etc, and he is small for his age which may be due to the ADHD drug he has taken since he was 6 yrs. old. His father and I decided to home school our son for several reasons including taking him off the narcotic dextroamphetamine and amphetamine for his ADHD. My grandson, who is 10, has severe ADHD and possibly ODD. With a recommendation from a friend whose granddaughter takes Synaptol, I ordered 3 bottles about 3 months ago. My grandson's behavior was immediately better. He always reminds us to give him his Synaptol. He says it takes care of all the adverse effects of ADHD. He is calmer and able to focus. He can have a bad situation happen to him without an emotional outburst and crying. My daughter says she sees an 80% improvement in his ability to listen and be calm. I bought a month supply of Synaptol just to try on my 7yr old son who was diagnosed with ADHD several months ago. His father and I wanted to try everything first before medicating him, which is what everybody recommended, from his school to his doctor. Well, I decided I would try everything else first, like diet, no sugar, food coloring, artificial anything, plenty of sleep, extra tutoring, counseling, everything. It seemed to help at first--he did calm down, but he was still having trouble in school, not being able stay focused or keep up with in class assignments. Well, needless to say, we got a lot of pressure from the school to put him on even a little bit of medicine, in their words. So I researched Synaptol and figured, it's natural, let's try it. Well, after about 2 weeks he is getting better grades--the teacher has said he is staying on task and keeping up with the rest of the class and she sees him really trying. I am very happy with the results so far. Let's hope they continue. It says to give twice a day, but right now we only give it once a day before school. It was not supposed to have a taste, but my son says it does, but it's tolerable. I give it right in his mouth and then he takes a drink of water. This is definitely an option to try before other medication. If it doesn't work, you have nothing to lose. After all, the other medications don't work for everybody either.

We have been giving Synaptol to our 12-year-old son since November. We have seen a significant decrease in the motor tics he had been exhibiting and some increased attention when working on homework at home. However, his teachers report that he is still very impulsive and hyperactive, and has a short attention span at school. My 15-year-old daughter, Deanna, started taking Synaptol the beginning of the school year 2011-12. Her first grading period she got a 3.75 grade point average. This is high honor roll status. You have to understand that Deanna had a bad year last year with C's and poor attendance. She did not want to go to school because she couldn't focus with her ADHD. She also tried the medication called atomoxetine and it caused her to have an irregular heartbeat. I took her to the emergency room for chest pains. When I first heard about Synaptol, I had concerns about it. Is it effective? Is it safe? Is it worth the cost? After looking into it as much as I could, I bought 2 bottles, figuring I could return 1 if needed, wishing there was more research available about it. After 1 month of using Synaptol as directed, I decided to share my experience. First of all, the product is easy to take. There are no big pills to swallow, and it tastes pretty much like mineralized water, not much taste at all. I don't even feel I need to mix it in anything to take it. Did I experience any negative side effects? None that I can determine. What has this product done for me? Well, before I used to take [ADHD medication] and [depression/anxiety medication]. The [depression/anxiety medication] helped even out my emotional reactions to things. The [ADHD medication] did little for me. Now, I have stopped taking both of these, to give the Synaptol a try by itself. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I am not "foggy headed". Even when I am tired now, my thinking seems more clear. I have also slept more soundly. I am able to "come down" from strong emotional responses more easily, but without feeling emotionally flat. When there is a visible difference like that, it speaks more clearly for the product than any amount of statistics can do. My 11-year-old son has been on at least 5 different meds for ADD. The meds help somewhat with his focus at school, but make his anxiety go through the roof. He doesn't eat well at all Monday - Friday. I do not give him meds on the weekend so that he will actually eat. These two products are amazing individually, and even better together! My husband was recently diagnosed with severe adult ADHD. This is the second homeopathic ADD formula I tried. This one supports my executive function better, but I feel slightly over-sedated. It takes a while to settle into a supplement, especially one that targets cognitive function. I tried pairing it with a brain blend, but that was a bit too manic. I may need to find the right pairing, or another homeopathic ADD PTSD formula entirely. The jury is still out.

My 10-year-old is very intelligent and thoughtful, but he has always had problems with his focus and attention span - mostly when he was doing something he did not want to do. Recently, his attitude began to sour, and he was not responding well to correction/coaching. I have not bought into the ADD/ADHD wave, but I could not deny some of my son's issues were not unlike some issues cited by disciples of the above disorders. Hello, I got this product for my 15-year-old with Tourrette's, and my 7-year-old who has type 1 diabetes, who has a lot of energy and never keeps still. I must say, it has done wonders for my 15-year-old's concentration. He has been better at school - for the first time, last week, he sat for 2.5 hours to do a school assignment. I can't remember the last time he did that. He went off the Synaptol for a week and it was a bad week. My husband told him to please go back on the drops, because they must be working. So thank you. As for my 7-year-old, the drops were helping about 50/50. Then, when he started his 3rd year of school, he started to cry every morning (never done that before). My older son went to high school, so I think he missed the security of him being there. It was getting worse, so the school counselor saw him a few times. I'm 34. I got my Synaptol last night. I was skeptical. It tasted like water and how could such a small amount work when prescribed drugs (which caused me to lose 10 lbs. in three weeks and 36 hours of zero sleep) couldn't help? This was a last-ditch effort. I have a graduate degree and was on my way to losing my first real job and I've lost so many. My insurance hasn't kicked in so I couldn't try pharms again. The best thing about Synaptol is that there are no negative side effects. My 14-year-old son was experiencing depression when he was on ADHD prescription medication. After learning about Synaptol, I gave it a chance. I must say that he was more focused when he was on the medication according to the teachers. But he is more focused now than when he did not have anything at all. So effectiveness for attention/focus is very little. I wish I could see it more, but still it seems a little better than nothing, so I am contemplating to continue with this product for now. I also have a younger son who is more hyper than my older son. He is currently on the prescription medication. I am planning on experimenting Synaptol on him during the summer vacation. I hope this will work for him, because I just don't like those medications.

We only had our son try this product for one full bottle's use. We started to notice improvement in his behavior, attention and memory somewhere in week 3. We think the biggest thing we noticed was he wasn't so uptight or easily frustrated or angered. We already had another product that we also wanted to try so we didn't reorder. We did see improvement and I think it would have only continued to get better had we kept using it. We may be back to reorder in the future after trying a few other products to know which one works best for our son. I do believe this is a quality product and for those who say it tastes bad or their child didn't like the taste, you need to try it too. There is very little taste to it. Your child may be manipulating you not to take it if they complain about the taste. It is very easy to take!

I purchased this for my son who just basically has a hard time focusing and staying on task. He always has to be moving and doing something. Thankfully it has never affected him acedemically. He was totally fine with starting Synaptol because he wanted to feel better. There really isn't a taste to it, which is extremely helpful for kids. I read many reviews and some were quite negative but I think that even if you go to prescription drugs anyone can get varied results. Everyone is different, but boy did this work for my son. His first week with taking it, he came home from school and said he couldn't believe how he could sit down and focus more. I don't even have to remind him to take it in the morning. He did start out taking it in the evening too but he said that made it hard for him to get up in the morning so we stopped that dose. Everything is going well with him and he, himself, notices the difference - and he is only 12!

My son was having difficulty at home and in school when it came to doing his school work. I started giving him Synaptol at age five, and we noticed that he was able to focus. The teachers also noticed he was concentrating better. After 9 months he was doing so well in school and we ran out of Synaptol. We decided to give him a break from Synaptol, and after three weeks of not using it we started to notice how he was not doing his homework at home well. He was like a turtle, making excuses, dropping his pencil, saying he needed water, saying he had to go peepee again...it was really frustrating. A few days later the teachers grabbed me on the side and said, "He's not doing his work, he says he does not know how to do it, and it is because he is in a group." My son has had ADD for years - in grammar school he was prescribed methylphenidate. It never really helped, and that was many years ago. It was 20 years ago as an adult that I found out I have ADD; before that I just thought I was normal and everybody else was messed up. Since then I've tried 3 different medications, with varying but marginal success. Methylphenidate just made me wired and nervous. Bupropion helped me not be so forgetful or resentful at interruptions to my coping mechanisms – because (I think) it helped me relax and be less obsessive about coping. But it became less effective for me over the years, especially during times of high stress, even with higher doses. After that, I saw some success with Atomoxetine but the uncomfortable side effects – for me – began to outweigh the benefits. And when I could not afford insurance coverage, the cost of this drug made it unaffordable, especially since there is no generic yet. My online research led me to HelloLife and Synaptol. Within 15 minutes of the first dose, I experienced very noticeable mental clarity, like a breeze had blown away the fog. I was also less vulnerable to distraction. What I didn't notice was jitters, nervousness or anxiety about forgetting things.
