  What pain reliever can I give a cat that has had a drainage tube removed for an abcessed wolf worm infection

  You can use Promaxol for pain relief and faster healing. One needs to avoid giving human fever and pain relief products to cats. Aspirin and Tylenol can easily kill a cat. If your veterinarian wants to prescribe a veterinary product, it can be used in conjunction with conventional medication. Usually a lower dose is effective.
