  My toe hurts. Do I have gout?

  When someone has a “gouty attack” the area around the joint becomes very painful, red, and swollen. Become of the redness, swelling and pain, people often think they broke a bone, but cannot remember injuring the joint. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish the difference between gout and a cellulites skin infection.
