    Time after time meditation has proven to help individuals become healthier and happier. It has come to be a treat all type therapy, treating everything from stress to major brain injury.


    Do you meditate?

    Do you have a meditation routine that you use?

    Do you have an interesting story that involves meditation?

    I would really like to get into the habit of meditating daily. I had some free time on Saturday, so I took 5 minutes and meditated. I more or less followed the techniques from Dr. Jeff's blog, combining it with techniques from a priest whose meditation workshop I went to a few years ago. It had a wonderful calming effect! Now I just need to make it part of my routine...

    Nice! I hope that you can make it part of your daily routine, the benefits are way worth the time. The health benefits have become more than I ever imagined. During times when stress or anger use to consume my life, meditation allows me to gain perspective and truly center myself. The largest benefit is the actual sense of self that you gain through meditation, purely by the sustained look in the metaphorical mirror each day...truly an amazing feeling to know yourself.
