Bri Luginbill at HelloLifeSomething that I've been fascinated about for the longest time is body image. We all have some sort of body image. We have things we like about our body and things we don't. And the pressures from society and media are a lot for us to take!
What do you to stay confident? I try and tell myself each day that I like the way I look. Of course some days that works and others it doesn't. But nothing like a good pep talk right?

ShirleyWe have the same motivation Bri, when I'm in the mirror before leaving to work I talked to my self and I tell myself too that 'I like the way I look!'. That keeps my spirits up! :)

Bri Luginbill at HelloLifeThanks for sharing that Shirley! It really does motivate you to start the day off right and be confident in yourself. :)

DaytonSome days I hate how I look and some days I love how I look, and I'm pretty sure joe blow looking at me both days wouldn't be able to tell a difference ha.

FekaduI say to myself that I am beautifully created. Everybody is created by the wonderful hand of God. Be happy by who you are and give glory to God.

ChesterThink beautiful thoughts and you will shine and people will see it. Who you are as a person reflects who are are as a whole.

Jessica Corwin, RDGreat discussion, Bri. This is something that many of us struggle with.
My secret? I like to focus on the amazing things that my body does for me day in and day out. Whether it's my powerful thighs helping me to hoof it up a hill side hike, my core helping me to balance difficult poses in pilates, or my arms lifting up my adorable nieces :)
I have one friend who used to hate her calve muscles, but now she is grateful for such powerful muscles as they helped her to complete her first marathon just this past year!
Our bodies are truly miraculous and if we focus on just that, it's easy to move beyond our negative thoughts. If you simply can't stand your waist size, then focus on improving it by increasing the strength of your body through daily activity to help burn calories and improve muscle mass. Each time you do, you will feel just a little stronger...
Cheers to good health!
