Candida Diet

I’ve recently found out that I have a problem with Candida overgrowth. I want to adjust my diet to help with this problem, but there seems to be so much I can’t eat! Any suggestions on how to feel full and enjoy “comfort food?”

    Great question!

There are several great blog posts and articles on the Candida Diet here on HelloLife and I encourage you to read them for a thorough overview on this very topic. In regards to your question of being able to enjoy 'comfort foods' this is certainly still achievable and my recommendations would largely depend on how you define comfort foods?

If you are referring to baked goods, try experimenting with gluten-free flours in place of wheat flour, almond milk in place of cow's milk, and stevia in place of granulated sugars.

If you have other foods in mind, please do not hesitate to ask!

    In good health,

    Jessica
