HelloLife GuestWhat steps can I take to treat ADHD before turning to drugs?
-

Dr. Jeff Chamberlain, MDMedications can help, but they are usually the last step. If we can do something else without medications to manage the ADHD, we will be better off that way. The first thing is trying to organize life with calendars, schedules, or things that make the ADHD more manageable. Having simple tasks instead of just waking up, getting dressed, brushing teeth and bustling about without order; breaking that whole, chaotic mess, into manageable tasks that can be completed in order.
This response was just one answer taken from a video Q&A with Dr. Chamberlain.
