    Thanks for sharing, Jack! Are there any coping mechanisms that you've found really help? I don't have Adhd, but I do have mild anxiety and I use different methods that really help. Alternatives whether in medicine or just in how you live your life are great options!

    Definitely agree with you on the idea of there being better solutions than simply medicating a child!

    Too many parents jump into that line without exploring other, less invasive and risky options. Lifestyle changes and - like Bri pointed out - coping mechanisms are probably the best. They do take significantly more time and effort than administering a pill, but ultimately, I think the pay off is much better! (And as an adult ADHDer, I should know!)
